Assistant Brand Manager – Stuart Alexander & Co
Location: Pyrmont, NSW
Employment Type: 9-Month Fixed-Term Contract

The Role
As Assistant Brand Manager, you will play a key support role within the Marketing team, helping to drive brand performance across all channels and customers. This is a hands‐on, fast‐paced role where you will balance brand partner coordination, reporting, artwork and compliance management, and new product development support — while also contributing to the delivery of commercial brand plans. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager, Shopper team, Sales, Supply Chain and external brand partners to ensure our brands are executed seamlessly in market and set up for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Planning & Execution
Support the development and execution of 1–2 year brand plans in line with commercial objectives
Coordinate BTL marketing artwork with Shopper Marketing and manage approval workflows across internal teams and brand partners
Manage customer queries and product‐related feedback in collaboration with Customer Service and brand partners
Brand Partner Reporting & Administration
Prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports, tracking IMS, shipments and performance against forecast
Support internal review meetings with clear,
data‐driven insights
Manage share cost invoicing and related administrative processes
Respond to ad hoc brand partner requests and maintain strong day‐to‐day communication
New Product Development
Coordinate NPD processes from approval through to launch, including documentation, tracker updates and system set‐up
Prepare and present gate documents for monthly NPD meetings (post sign‐off from Marketing Manager)
Liaise with regulatory agencies and brand partners to ensure packaging, regulatory and barcode approvals are secured, ensuring product compliance
Ensure new products are correctly loaded into internal systems and SKU library prior to launch
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a proactive, commercially minded marketing skilled who enjoys being across the detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind.
1–2 years' experience in a marketing role, ideally within FMCG
Exposure to brand management, trade marketing, or product development
Strong analytical mindset and confidence working with data and performance reporting
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Collaborative team player who can also work autonomously
Eager to learn, grow and build a long‐term career within a fast‐paced FMCG business
