The Opportunity
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Project Managerto lead the successful delivery of multiple civil infrastructure projects from tender handover through to completion.
This role requires a commercially astute leader capable of managing project teams, developing client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in mentoring project teams and contributing to the continued growth of Green Civil Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
Lead the planning and delivery of multiple civil construction projects simultaneously.
Manage project budgets, cash flow forecasts, procurement strategies and cost control.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to contractual requirements.
Oversee project programming and critical path management.
Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Drive high-quality project outcomes through effective planning and leadership.
Commercial Management
Administer subcontract agreements and supplier contracts.




Prepare and negotiate variations, extensions of time (EOTs), payment claims and contractual correspondence.
Monitor project profitability and financial performance.
Lead commercial negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
Resolve contractual disputes where required.
Leadership
Lead, mentor and develop Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Supervisors.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular project reviews and performance meetings.
Promote collaboration across project delivery teams.
Client & Stakeholder Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
Represent Green Civil Australia during client meetings and progress reviews.
Identify opportunities for repeat business and new project opportunities.
Business Development
Support tender submissions and pre-contract planning.
Assist in identifying new market opportunities.
Contribute to strategic growth initiatives across NSW and interstate operations.
Safety, Quality & Environmental
Champion Green Civil Australia's commitment to safety.
Ensure compliance with ISO ****, ISO ***** and ISO ***** Management Systems.




Promote environmental sustainability and continuous improvement.
Ensure all works comply with legislative and contractual requirements.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
Minimum 10 years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated experience managing projects exceeding $10 million.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standard construction contracts.
Excellent commercial and contractual management skills.
Proven experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Solid financial acumen and budgeting experience.
Current Driver's Licence.
Experience with D&C; and construct-only contracts.
Knowledge of Security of Payment legislation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6 or similar planning software.
Chartered Engineer (CPEng), RPEQ or equivalent professional accreditation.
