Your opportunity
As the
Airworthiness Review Specialist
, you will support the day-to-day delivery of Airworthiness Review certification activities in line with CASR Division 42.I and the CASA Part 42 Manual of Standards.
Reporting to the Airworthiness Review Manager, you will ensure Airworthiness Review Certificates remain current and compliant. You will support alignment with regulatory requirements and internal procedures, while contributing to a strong safety, quality and continuous improvement culture. Working closely with key CAMO stakeholders, you will also help maintain the ongoing safety and compliance of Jetstar's A320/A321 and B***** fleet.
Your responsibilities will include
Prepare and approve Aircraft Airworthiness Review Certificates or extension certificates in accordance with CASR Part 42.
Conduct compliance reviews against CASR Part ****** and associated requirements in line with departmental procedures.
Perform aircraft physical surveys.
Ensure Airworthiness Review Certificates are submitted to CASA in accordance with CASR Subpart 42.I requirements.
Provide technical advice and support to internal stakeholders as required.
Liaise with regulatory authorities (primarily CASA) and internal stakeholders as required.
Ensure all AARC data is accurately captured and stored in accordance with record-keeping requirements.
Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Undertake additional CAMO duties as directed by the Manager Airworthiness Certification.
Ideally, you'll have
At least 5 years' experience in continuing airworthiness or related areas such as Maintenance Planning, Aircraft Configuration Control, Technical Records or end of lease activities
Eligibility as an Airworthiness Review Employee (ARE) in accordance with CASA Part 42 Manual of Standards
A current or previous CASA B1, B2 or C category licence on company aircraft (desirable)
Strong attention to detail with well-developed problem-solving skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, solution focused approach
