This is a 2 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 3, **** with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency.
Halls Head College (HHC) is uniquely situated on the 'island' of Halls Head just south of Mandurah. The local intake area of HHC is south, close to the Waroona Shire boundary. The contributory primary schools are Glencoe, Halls Head, Falcon, South Halls Head and Ocean Road. The College provides a secondary education for students who live in the rapidly growing coastal strip, south of Mandurah.

The Role
Halls Head College has a unique opportunity seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative leader to the position of Deputy Principal – Student Services. We are seeking a team player with displayed leadership behaviours, quality, and attitude.
The successful applicant will ideally display cutting-edge and proven ability and skills in working collaboratively to effectively improve, embed and achieve desired partnerships, protocols, and outcomes for the College.
The roles and responsibilities of the role ideally include the following and are sought specifically in the portfolio area:
Consultation, development, and implementation of ideas sought from across the College.
Supporting the Executive in ensuring critical directions are maintained, intent is aligned, and comprehensive consultation and conversations are enacted.
Extensive knowledge, understanding and skills that align to the College ethos.
Deliver and embed a culture of bold and strategic solutions.
Embed and implement exemplary and practical policies and practices.
Developing and delivering processes to effectively manage and improve staff performance and improve student outcomes.




The successfulapplicant will ideally efficiently and effectively lead and manage change processes, introduce and execute value adding strategies and protocols for this large and complex organisation.
Your displayed skills and comprehensive experience ideally sought by the College include:
Collaborative and outstanding leadership qualities.
Exemplary interpersonal skills.
Outstanding change leadership and management, influencer, and negotiator.
Significant knowledge and understanding of your portfolio area and demonstrated delivery of outcomes.
A team player.
To be suitable for this role, you will ideally need to display the following:
Capacity to provide effective leadership in a diverse range of educational settings.
High level of interpersonal and public relations skills that demonstrate the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes.
Professional knowledge and the ability to apply this knowledge to ensure a high level of educational outcomes for all students (e.g. Aboriginal students, students from diverse ethnic backgrounds and students with special needs).
Capacity to manage staff, physical and financial resources.
