The Role
This permanent role is central to Pacific Blue's Retail function, supporting the successful delivery of initiatives that underpin the business's strategic and operational priorities. The Delivery Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating cross-functional initiatives across compliance, product and campaign delivery, pricing, operations, and credit & collections.
Working closely with Retail stakeholders, technology teams and delivery partners, the role ensures initiatives are clearly defined, prioritised and delivered on time, within scope and with clear business outcomes. The Delivery Lead translates business objectives into structured delivery plans and coordinates activities across teams to ensure dependencies, risks and delivery impacts are actively managed.
A key focus of the role is maintaining delivery momentum, facilitating stakeholder engagement and ensuring initiatives deliver robust commercial, customer and regulatory outcomes for the Retail business.
This role is well suited to experienced Delivery Leads, Project Managers and Business Analysts who have successfully delivered cross-functional initiatives within the energy, utilities, health insurance or other highly regulated industries.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Melbourne.
What you'll be responsible for:
Drive and facilitate the end-to-end delivery of Retail initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
Translate business objectives into clearly defined delivery plans, milestones, and outcomes.
Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts are actively managed.
Maintain momentum on initiatives through effective planning, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
Act as a trusted delivery partner to Retail stakeholders across compliance, product, campaigns, pricing, operations, and credit & collections.
Facilitate workshops, forums, and governance sessions to support decision-making and track progress.
Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders.
Ensure initiatives adhere to internal governance processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance obligations.
Identify delivery risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate where appropriate.
Support prioritisation of Retail initiatives to maximise customer, risk, and commercial outcomes.
Work with planning and analytics partners to understand impacts, trade-offs, and capacity constraints.
Contribute to improving delivery practices, tools, and ways of working within the Retail Planning Team.
Knowledge and Experience
Tertiary qualification in Business or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years' experience leading cross-company projects or delivery initiatives.
At least 5 years' experience working directly with senior Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Operational leaders.
Strong analytical capability combined with practical project management experience.
Experience using project management and delivery tools, particularly Jira, Confluence, and the Microsoft Office suite.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Practical understanding of the energy or utilities sector is highly regarded.
