What you'll be doing
Work full‐time, on‐site in one of our retail stores on a rotating roster across a 7‐day trade.
Plan itineraries, book travel and convert enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone and via e‐mail.
Work towards individual KPIs and sales targets, selling the whole holiday including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers and more.
Build a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays and everything in between.
Assist customers with travel‐related questions including visas, best time of year to travel, what to pack, where to eat, what to avoid, etc.
Enjoy a base wage plus an uncapped incentive payment structure where you earn a percentage of every sale; your pay is completely uncapped.
What we're looking for
A seasoned traveller with a history of international destinations and a can't‐stop travel recommendation habit.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a calendar, answer phone calls and respond to e‐mails quickly.
Determination to meet sales targets and KPIs while balancing workload in a high‐pressure environment.
Enthusiasm, passion and a warmth that makes customers want to book with you every time.




Savvy with computers, comfortable toggling between complex systems to find the right flight and package options for customers.

We'll boost your wage to a $65K equivalent for the first 90 days while you learn the ropes. Average first‐year earnings for a Travel Consultant are $70K; Senior Consultants average $100K and Team Leaders average $138K annually, including superannuation and penalty rates.
