Compton Green Enterprise Services (CGES) is a growing facilities, property and land management company delivering services across a diverse portfolio of government and community assets throughout Victoria. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Handyman & Gardener / Land Management to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines general property maintenance, handyman services and land management activities across a broad government contract portfolio.
No two days are the same. You will work across a range of sites undertaking:
General handyman and maintenance works
Basic carpentry repairs
Locksmith-related tasks and repairs
Minor building maintenance and make-safe works
Gardening and landscape maintenance
Lawn mowing and grass management
Weed control and vegetation management
Rubbish removal and site presentation
Land management activities across vacant and developed sites
Property inspections and reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in handyman,
facilities maintenance or property maintenance services
Practical carpentry skills
Experience with general repairs and maintenance
Gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
Experience operating lawn mowing and gardening equipment
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to get things done
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A current Victorian Driver's Licence
White Card (desirable)
Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
