The Opportunity
This 15-month fixed term contract is suitable for a seasoned medical device or hospital sales professional. You will inherit an established territory and will be responsible for maintaining current and driving territory sales to increase market share.
Responsibilities
Achieve sales revenue and increase market share by promoting and selling our range of surgical vision products to key Eye Specialists in the assigned territory
Act as a consultant and trusted cataract partner, providing clinical support during procedures and in-service training to recent users on the use of our specialised surgical products and equipment
Identify new business opportunities and partner with Marketing, Professional Education, etc. to progress commercial and KOL plans with target customers
Handle customer queries and manage issues/complaints as they arise, monitor competitor activity and market trends, and implement corrective actions as required
Maintain a high level of surgical and industry knowledge relevant to the role
About You
Degree qualified with minimum 2–3 years of medical device or hospital sales experience
Clear passion for the Ophthalmology space with a track record of commercial achievement and growth of business and market share
Commercial acumen with a positive can-do attitude to achieving results
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term relationships
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with strong organisational skills

This is a 15-month full-time fixed term contract position and will require frequent travel to hospitals and day surgeries within Adelaide Metro. All applicants MUST have rights to work in Australia, a reliable car and a valid Driver Licence.
