Senior Project Manager TasNetworks Hobart, Tasmania, Australia
About The Role
TasNetworks is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead major electrical infrastructure projects across Tasmania. This statewide role involves regular site travel, complex stakeholder engagement and full lifecycle project delivery.
What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-million-dollar electrical infrastructure projects.
Own project outcomes across scope, cost, schedule and quality.
Manage contracts (including AS****), budgets, forecasting and commercial performance.
Oversee scheduling, resource planning and communication across internal teams and contractors.
Identify and manage project risks, constraints and dependencies.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Ensure safety, environmental and quality standards are met on every project.
About You
If you're a strong communicator, thrive in a fast-paced environment and love driving continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
You Will Also Offer Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or similar relevant experience.
Extensive experience managing full lifecycle construction projects (client-side advantageous).
Strong scheduling skills (MS Project or similar).
Proven contract management and commercial acumen.
Excellent communication, reporting and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Experience in electrical, HV or utilities projects (desirable).
A safety-first,
customer-focused mindset.
