Rehabilitation Medicine Career Medical Officer | Canberra
Applications are sought for a Night Career Medical Officer (CMO) role for the **** clinical year, commencing in February ****, for 1 year with the possibility of extension. To be eligible to apply, you must be PGY4+ by February ****.
The successful applicant will provide overnight medical cover at the University of Canberra Hospital (UCH) from 8:30 pm to 8:30 am on a week‐on, week‐off roster.

The University of Canberra Hospital
UCH is Canberra's first purpose‐built rehabilitation hospital and the Specialist Centre for Rehabilitation, Recovery and Research.
UCH is the largest rehabilitation centre in the ACT and surrounding region, with capacity for:
75‐day program places
Additional outpatient services
UCH provides subacute services including:
Rehabilitation (inpatient, outpatient and day programmes)
Geriatric Evaluation and Management
Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation
Staffing
The medical team includes:
6 Staff Specialist Consultants in Rehabilitation Medicine
2 Consultant Geriatricians
A team of Staff Specialist Psychiatrists (1.5 FTE)
1 Psychiatry Registrar
1 Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Consultants provide supervision for Career Medical Officers, Registrars and Resident Medical Officers.
There are currently 120 rehabilitation beds and 20 beds in the adjacent Adult Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit (AMHRU).
