We are currently partnering with a growing organisation seeking an External Sales Engineer to drive business growth across the WA market. This opportunity is ideal for someone with a technical or engineering background who is passionate about building relationships and transitioning further into a sales-focused role.
A well-established engineering solutions provider specialising in technical training equipment, industrial instrumentation, sensors, and process measurement technologies across Australia and New Zealand.
The position focuses on a portfolio of
sensors, instrumentation, measurement, monitoring and industrial technology solutions
, supporting customers across industries such as Mining, Defence, Water, Rail, Energy, Manufacturing, Food & Beverage, Universities, Research and Process Industries.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow existing major client accounts




Identify and develop new business opportunities across target sectors
Strengthen brand presence and raise the profile of the business within the Perth market
Provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including hands‐on assistance where required
Build and maintain long‐term customer relationships through a consultative sales approach
Desired Experience & Qualifications
Background or prior experience in Engineering- Mechanical and Electrical is ideal
Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
Exposure to university, research, defence, food & beverage, mining, or energy sectors
Robust relationship‐building and stakeholder management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self‐motivated with a curious mindset and ability to work autonomously
