Our team in Enterprise Technology partners with the Risk Management Group to deliver reliable, scalable technology solutions that support eDiscovery and surveillance across the organisation.
We are a global financial services group operating in 30 markets with 57 years of unbroken profitability. At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that is fulfilling and creates value. You will bring your insights and expertise to the task at hand and feel supported as you make your own kind of impact for a better future.
What role will you play?
In this role you will design and build end-to-end solutions for eDiscovery and surveillance, working closely with business and engineering teams. You will take a hands‐on approach to shape solution architecture, validate design decisions and guide delivery. You will also help define technology strategy, roadmaps and data architecture patterns that support enterprise‐wide goals.
What you offer
Hands‐on engineering background with the ability to actively contribute to technical design, problem‐solving, and delivery, not just provide high‐level architectural guidance
Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, high‐availability systems in complex enterprise environments
Strong understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Experience defining and enforcing architectural standards, governance, and best practices across teams
Ability to balance long‐term strategic architecture with short‐term delivery needs
Knowledge of API design and management, including RESTful services and event‐driven architecture
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, including experience designing,

deploying, and operating secure, scalable, and resilient cloud‐native solutions.
Familiarity with observability practices, including monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
Experience mentoring and coaching engineers, helping to uplift capability across teams
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment at senior levels
Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations, particularly within financial services environments
Ability to translate business strategy into technical solutions and roadmaps.
We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us; if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
What we offer
At Macquarie, you're empowered to shape a career that's rewarding in all the ways that matter most to you. Macquarie employees can access a wide range of benefits which, depending on employment type, include:
1 wellbeing leave day per year
Up to 5 additional service bonus leave days per year
Up to 20 weeks' paid parental leave for primary caregivers along with 12 days of transition leave upon return to work, and 6 weeks' paid leave for non‐primary caregivers
