Our school is seeking passionate and skilled Music Teachers to join our secondary team. We foster a culture of high expectations, evidence-informed practice, and continuous improvement, where every student is supported to achieve success.
This position offers the prospect to teach Music across Years 7-12, including SACE Music for suitably qualified/experienced applicants. We welcome teachers with expertise across middle and senior years who are committed to delivering engaging, contemporary, and creative music programs that develop students' musical understanding, performance skills, and confidence as active participants in the arts.
As a member of our Arts team, you will work alongside colleagues who use evidence-informed pedagogies and responsive, explicit teaching practices to design authentic learning experiences that strengthen the SACE and SA Curriculum dispositions and capabilities. Through creative exploration, performance, composition, and collaboration,



you will nurture students who are creative, empathetic, confident, and self-aware, while developing their capacity for critical and creative thinking, personal insight, collaboration and the ability to apply their learning in meaningful and authentic contexts.
Provide an example of when you have actively created working relationships that have resulted in you connecting with your colleagues, sharing practices, and learning from one another to support your learners to thrive.
Explain a time where you have empowered your learners, giving them agency to shape a learning experience. What was the outcome?
Describe a time where evaluation of your teaching has led to a change in your teaching practice. Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
