This is an excellent opportunity to step into a busy, collaborative setting where you'll play a key role in supporting month-end processes and financial reporting.If you're someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment and can hit the ground running, we'd love to hear from you.The Role:Daily bank reconciliations and resolving reconciling itemsAssisting with month-end close including accruals, prepayments and general ledger reconciliationsPreparing balance sheet and overhead reconciliationsSupporting BAS preparation and other statutory reportingAssisting with monthly management reporting and financial analysisMaintaining accurate financial records and supporting audit requirementsAssisting with forecasting and financial reportingWorking closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate coding and cost allocationSupporting the administration of bank guarantees,



bonds and trust accountsProviding ad hoc reporting and analysis as requiredAbout You:Minimum 3 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant positionPrevious experience within construction, engineering, property or another project-based industry is highly regardedStrong understanding of month-end accounting processesExperience with bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, accruals and prepaymentsJobpac or equivalent software experienceIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and excellent organisational skillsCPA/CA studying or completed, or a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or CommerceWhat's on Offer:Immediate start with a well-established commercial construction businessCompetitive hourly rateOpportunity to work within a high-performing finance teamExposure to a variety of accounting and reporting responsibilitiesPotential for the contract to be extended for the right personFriendly, collaborative and professional working environmentIf you're available immediately or finishing up your current contract soon, we'd love to hear from you.
