HSE Advisor - Cape Lambert Operations | FIFO
Overview
Reporting to the HSE Lead and Construction Manager, the HSE Advisor will provide hands-on health, safety, and environmental support across Goodline's Cape Lambert operations. The role is primarily field-based, working closely with supervisors, trades, and subcontractors to promote safe work practices, manage risks, ensure compliance, and foster a strong safety culture across maintenance, construction, civil, and marine activities.

Key Responsibilities
Provide proactive HSE support and leadership across construction, maintenance, civil, and marine activities.
Conduct field inspections, safety observations, and verifications to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
Facilitate hazard identification, risk assessments, SWMS reviews, and implementation of effective controls.
Assist with incident reporting, investigations, audits, and corrective action management.




Coach and engage supervisors, workers, and subcontractors to promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
About You
Diploma (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety, with a strong understanding of HSE legislation and industry best practice.
Experience supporting high-risk construction, shutdown, maintenance, or resource sector projects.
Skilled in risk assessments, SWMS reviews, incident investigations, auditing, and compliance monitoring.
Solid communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships, coach teams, and influence safe behaviours in the field.
