Electrical Design Engineer

As our new Electrical Design Engineer, you'll be a vital part of the Industrial EI&C; team that changes the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable.
Your Role Will Include
In-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and process plant projects
Fundamental knowledge of key Australian Standards
Client interfacing
Experience in detailed design of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
Experience with power systems software

Completed a Degree in Electrical Engineering recognised by Engineers Australia
At least 5 years post‐graduate experience working on detailed design for industrial projects, process plants, energy sector, water sector, transport sector or mining projects, ensuring quality deliverables while meeting agreed schedules
Applied knowledge of in‐plant electrical distribution (MV and LV systems) and motor control systems
Applied knowledge of relevant standards including AS/NZS ****, AS/NZS ******** and AS/NZS ****
Experience across all project development phases including concept, FEED and detail design
Experience with power systems design and modelling software such as PowerCad, ETAP or equivalent
Ability to proactively interact with Project Managers, discipline engineers and designers to support project deliverables
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Understanding of renewable energy, industrial communications systems, SCADA, PLC/DCS, industrial networking and communication systems, Hazardous Areas and Functional Safety would be viewed favourably
