We are partnering with a boutique rehabilitation provider who is seeking an Allied Health professional to join their team as a Rehabilitation Consultant.
This is an prospect for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Registered Nurse, Psychologist, or Social Worker who is looking to utilise their clinical skills in a different setting and support individuals through their recovery and rehabilitation journey.
Previous occupational rehabilitation experience is
not essential
. This role is open to Allied Health professionals looking to move into the occupational rehabilitation space, as well as current Rehabilitation Consultants who are looking for their next opportunity.
The role
You will work with individuals experiencing injury, illness, or disability, helping them navigate their recovery and achieve sustainable outcomes. The role involves managing a varied caseload, completing assessments, developing rehabilitation strategies, and working closely with a range of stakeholders.
Responsibilities include:
Completing assessments to understand clients' functional, vocational, and personal circumstances
Creating individualised rehabilitation plans and providing ongoing support
Working collaboratively with clients, employers,
insurers, medical professionals, and other treatment providers
Coordinating rehabilitation activities and monitoring progress
Providing guidance and education to support positive outcomes
Using your clinical background to inform practical, evidence-based recommendations
About you
You will ideally have:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Psychology, or Social Work
APHRA, ASORC, ESSA, AASW
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with a range of people
A practical and solutions-focused approach
Confidence working independently while being part of a close-knit team
An interest in supporting people through periods of change and recovery
