We are looking for a Sr. Manager, Business Innovation to join Align's New Business Models & Services team in APAC. This is neither a sales role nor a pure strategy role. It's a build‐and‐execute position for someone who wants to create with urgency, can influence without authority, and gets things done without a detailed brief. Fintech fluency is a must.

This newly created role sits in a small, high‐visibility team in the CFO organization, tasked with transforming how Align goes to market through innovative business models, services and solutions. Reporting to the Senior Director, New Business Models & Services APAC, the role is a core member of the ANZ commercial leadership team. You will be a key connector between the ANZ market needs and our global Business Model Innovation strategy, working closely with local commercial leaders and partners across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to diagnose growth blockers and design, test, and scale solutions that drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Embed yourself with the commercial team and build trusted relationships.
Run structured discovery to surface growth blockers.
Understand existing innovation programs & priorities and adapt them for ANZ.
Build business cases, develop business plans, and evaluate new business opportunities for investment.
Design and run pilots, iterating fast and making go/no‐go decisions.
Execute with urgency, turning validated ideas into live programs and ensuring adoption.
Source, evaluate, and manage third‐party partners; negotiate agreements and own the relationships.
Develop internal materials (playbooks, training, commercial enablement) to support local teams.
Feed learnings back into the global innovation team for broader adaptation and scaling.
Qualifications
Robust business acumen and judgment: comfortable with unit economics,



incentive structures, and value exchange.
Meaningful fintech experience of at least 3 years in consumer lending, BNPL, payments, healthcare financing, or adjacent domains.
Experience with iterative product or solution design, running pilots, and making go/no‐go decisions.
Ability to context‐switch quickly between partnership negotiations, systems integration, and revenue model design.
Soft power and collaboration skills; track record of influencing without authority.
Comfort with ambiguity; ability to prioritize and create structure in a small team.
Affinity for AI tools, using them for research, analysis, synthesis, and building materials.
Strong project management, organisational, and analytical skills, managing budgets and multiple workstreams.
10+ years of commercial, product management, or consulting experience, with at least 3 years in fintech and a track record of scaling products or programs.
Bachelor's degree minimum; MBA or equivalent a plus.
Nice to Have
Experience in medtech, healthtech, or other regulated industries, especially with DSO or multi‐site healthcare groups.
SaaS, platform, or API product management experience relevant to systems integration.
Experience working in an overlay or matrix organization where influence without authority is primary.
