An outstanding opportunity has become available to join a globally recognised orthopaedic organisation as State Sales Manager, leading the NSW/ACT business.

About the Role
Reporting to the National Sales Director, you'll be responsible for leading the commercial strategy across NSW and the ACT while coaching and developing a high‐performing team of Product Specialists.
Success in this role isn't simply measured by revenue growth. It's about creating a culture of accountability, developing future leaders, strengthening key customer relationships, and ensuring your team has the tools, confidence, and capability to consistently deliver exceptional results.
Working closely with Marketing, Clinical Education and the broader leadership team, you'll help shape both regional execution and national strategy.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Lead Commercial Performance
Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve and exceed business objectives
Drive sustainable sales growth and increase market share across NSW and the ACT




Analyse sales performance, customer insights and market trends to identify new opportunities
Manage regional budgets and business performance
Translate national strategies into successful regional execution
Develop High Performing People
Lead, coach and mentor a team of Product Specialists
Conduct regular field coaching and joint customer visits
Develop individual capability through structured development plans
Foster a positive, collaborative and high‐performance culture
Recruit, develop and retain top talent
Build Strategic Customer Relationships
Support your team in developing meaningful partnerships with surgeons, hospital executives and procurement teams
Guide strategic account planning across key hospitals
Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities that improve clinical and commercial outcomes
Collaborate Across the Business
Work closely with Marketing, Clinical Education and National Leadership to deliver business objectives
Contribute to business planning and strategic initiatives
Champion best practice and continuous improvement across the wider sales organisation
About You
You'll be an inspiring leader with a passion for developing people and driving commercial success.




You'll ideally bring:
Previous leadership experience or a proven track record as a Senior Territory Manager or Business Development Manager ready to step into management
Strong commercial acumen with experience developing strategic account plans
Excellent coaching, mentoring and people development skills
Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities
A collaborative leadership style with a genuine passion for helping others succeed
Degree qualified in Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline (preferred)
