About The RoleCatering support workers play an integral role in the team by providing healthy, hearty and delicious meals prepared by our Chef.
Reporting to the Home Manager, you will support the Kitchen team to deliver a high-quality catering service to our residents.
We are looking for individuals looking for steady permanent shifts across the roster to join our team.Your main duties will include:Support service delivery under the direction of the Chef/CookWork with Care team to plate and deliver meals, ensuring familiarity with menus and the needs and preferences of individual residents within the homeComplete cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning schedule,



filling in appropriate sign off sheetsDocument resident's requirements and any "exceptional" changes which occurs for the resident on shiftAbout YouDemonstrated experience in food preparation and food safetyFood Handling Certificate (HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices) - DesirableEffective interpersonal communication; both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to prioritise workloadsCommitment to continuous quality improvementWorking knowledge of WH&S; and Infection ControlAbility to operate standard domestic and industrial equipmentWhy work for Calvary?
