DescriptionWe currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Learning Trainer to join our Amazon Australia Learning Team based out of our Lytton, Brisbane Legacy site - the only fulfillment centre in Brisbane!
In this role, you will manage and work with our workplace process trainers (known as ambassadors) to deliver high standards of training to our new and existing associate workforce.You will thrive in this role if you are dynamic, an organised self-starter, a strong communicator and highly value teamwork.
The successful candidate will be trained in both the standard work and tools used within the Learning function and will be trained and required to work across warehouse processes such as picking or packing of customer shipments.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop, deliver and assess a multitude of training programs for both new and experienced associatesPerform data entry including creating, entering and updating training rostersLead & Support Ambassadors in their roles in delivering training and coaching to associatesAssist in evaluating and monitoring training efforts throughout the FCAbility to learn processes quickly and become a subject matter expert in recent processesComplete understanding of the safety procedures in the FC to ensure that associates are operating safely and take immediate corrective action where necessaryEnsure compliance with audits and refresher/one point change trainingEnsure area readiness and area organisation for all Learning areas and training locations to ensure they are prepared to support all training activitiesSpend time in a process path each week rotating through different areas within the warehouse to maintain proficiency and identify associate barriers and gaps in our trainingCoach and positively impact associates to succeed in their rolesBasic QualificationsWork 38 hours/week, and overtime as requiredRelevant experience of using clear communication including evidence of delivering training groups and creating corresponding communications and training materialsPreferred QualificationsAble to give and receive feedback effectivelyEffective time management skills, exemplary attendance and punctualityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiativeA forklift licence would be advantageousAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
