You'll be supported throughout the program as you grow your confidence, capability and future career options.About the ApprenticeshipOur apprenticeships are designed for people who are ready to start a hands‐on career in electronics, electrical, mechanical or fabrication trades.
You don't need to have everything figured out yet — if you're curious, practical, reliable and willing to learn, we'll support you to build the skills, confidence and workplace behaviours needed to become a qualified tradesperson.Opportunities may include:Certificate III in Electronics and CommunicationsCertificate III in Electrotechnology ElectricianCertificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining)Over the 4-year apprenticeship, you will work full time, ***** hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This includes your weekly TAFE day as part of your ordinary working hours while you complete your relevant trade certification.As an ANSTO apprentice, you will gain practical, hands‐on experience in a unique science and technology setting while completing a nationally recognised trade qualification.
Depending on your trade pathway, this may include experience in:Electronics,
