Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost out and efficiency.
Support managing supplier relationships and negotiate contracts if required to ensure favourable terms.
Monitor supply chain performance and resolve any procurement-related issues.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and align with business goals.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
Prepare and present procurement reports to management for informed decision-making.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement and supply chain department.
A successful Procurement Specialist should have:
Relevant experience in procurement and supply chain management within the consumer industry.
A strong understanding of sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
A keen eye for detail and an ability to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
An ASX100 consumer business known in every household in Australia.
Competitive salary package between $120,000 - $130,000 AUD + super.
