At headspace Eastern Shore, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary service helping young people (aged *****) feel safe, heard and supported as they navigate life's challenges.Your role, your impactAs the first point of contact for clients, families and visitors, you'll help create a positive and inclusive experience from the moment someone connects with the service.
You'll play a central role in ensuring young people, families and community members feel supported, respected and at ease from their very first interaction.You'll be both the welcoming face of the service and a key support behind the scenes – helping keep things running smoothly while supporting individuals to feel confident taking the next step in their care journey.Key responsibilitiesCreate a warm and inclusive first impression by welcoming clients, carers and visitors with care, respect and professionalismManage reception operations including phone enquiries, appointment bookings and confirmations, and maintaining accurate, confidential client recordsSupport access to care by coordinating bookings, referrals and clinician schedules, and liaising with GP clinics and external providersKeep the service running smoothly by preparing reception and client spaces, supporting meetings and events, and managing day-to-day administrative tasksProvide broader administrative support including data entry, and supporting multiple programs across the centreWork closely with clinicians and partners to ensure coordinated, seamless service deliveryAbout youYou bring empathy,
robust organisation and a collaborative approach to your work.You'll thrive in this role if you haveExperience in administration and/or reception roles, ideally within health or community servicesA compassionate, client-focused and non-judgemental approach, particularly when supporting young people aged ***** and their families/carersStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and understand client needsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and confidence using data entry systemsThe ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment with attention to detailA strong commitment to confidentiality and respectful, person-centred practiceWhat will make you stand outA qualification in Business Administration (Certificate level or above) - highly regardedExperience in youth mental health or community servicesFamiliarity with healthcare systems, including referrals and care coordinationExperience with Best Practice (desirable but not essential)Flexibility in work hours and a willingness to adapt to the needs of the serviceWhat's in it for you?
