The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Production Manager to join the team at Wales Bus Repairs, Smithfield.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a busy, high-performing workshop where you'll play a key role in driving productivity, quality outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
You'll be responsible for overseeing the repair process from start to finish, supporting your team, and ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Role Responsibilities
Lead and maintain a safe working environment for all team membersProcess vehicles upon arrival and manage workflow throughout the repair journeyAssist with ordering and receipting parts, paint, and consumablesEnsure repairs are completed on time, within budget,



and to quality standardsManage workshop production to achieve productivity targets and customer expectationsSupport the overall performance and profitability of the siteMotivate, coach, and develop your teamMaintain high workshop presentation and housekeeping standards
Does This Sound Like You?
Previous experience in a Production Manager or similar role within the collision repair industryStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and organisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelProven ability to get the best out of your teamStrong commitment to workplace safetyReliable, professional, and results-focused
