Job DescriptionAn exciting opportunityexists for someFull-Time/Part-Time Permanent Clinical Assistants within the Heidelberg/Warringal region.You will be aiding patients attending for medical imaging procedures, working flexibly from Monday - Friday between 6.00am – *****pm.Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure workplace are essential for success in this role.
A background in Allied Health or an interest within is preferable but not essential.Full training will be providedKey Accountabilities IncludePerform and assist with patient movement in the Medical Imaging service area, and the hospital when clinically requiredAssist with general clinic tasks and other patients of the department in any manner as directed by technical/clerical/medical staffEnsure Workplace Health and Safety legislation is complied withProvidingexcellent customer service and patient careMaintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managersOpportunities to learn to cannulate and/or perform Dexa ScansWhat We're Looking ForBasic ability to handle patient care with compassion and tact, ensuring the patients privacy, dignity and confidentiality is maintainedGood interpersonal skills and the ability to interact amiably and effectively with both the public and colleaguesAbility to function effectively as part of a diagnostic health teamGood time management and organisational skillsAbility to meet relevant VIC Health workplace requirements, including Occupational Assessment,
