Internal stakeholders include but are not limited to Branches and the Demand Planning Team.
External stakeholders include but are not limited to Rail Infrastructure Managers and Rollingstock Operators.Manage rolling stock demands and requirements in conjunction with the Demand Planning Team.Managing the day to day operations of Shunting activities within the Rail Siding to ensure compliance with safety and operational requirements.Ensuring train and shunt crew are competent with the appropriate qualifications for the task they are performingMonitoring train and shunt crew performance and undertake appropriate action to rectify any issuesLiaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the efficient train running and shunting requirements.Liaising with the SCT Train Operations Control Centre on a day to day basis to ensure the efficient train running and shunting requirements.Ensuring rail incidents are reported and investigated appropriately within the SCT Rapid Incident System.Assist with managing the reporting of notifiable incidents to the relevant authoritiesParticipate in the investigation of notifiable incidents (where appropriate)Maintaining employee standards of behavior.Maintaining compliance with SCT Rail and Work, Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.Ensuring notifiable incidents are reported to the Office of National Rail Safety Regulator (ONRSR)
