About The Role
We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced Career Advisors for a part time, fixed term contract position that will be based at our Elizabeth East campus with some work required at our Golden Grove campus.
The Career Advisor will work with students, families, and staff to support informed career and subject choices for secondary to senior secondary students.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated qualified who enjoys working collaboratively to foster student growth and engagement.
Responsibilities
Provide one‐on‐one and group career counselling for students in senior secondary
Assist students with course selection, tertiary entry, and vocational pathway planning
Build relationships with universities, TAFE, and industry to broaden student opportunities




Coordinate career events, work experience, and employer engagement programs
Maintain current knowledge of career trends, employment skills, and training pathway
Requirements
Essential Criteria
Relevant qualifications in career development, counselling, or education
Strong understanding of SACE, VET, and tertiary entry processes
Experience working with school aged students
Well-developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
Flexibility and an ability to work collaboratively
Ability to work with a variety of IT software platforms
A commitment to the mission, vision, and core values of the College

Base Salary Range: $85,****** - $102,******
Annualised Salary Range at 0.6 FTE: $43,****** - $52,******
Weeks of Paid Leave: 11
Hours of Work: 8:00am to 4:00pm, 3 days per week
