Our people and their jobs are as diverse as the communities we serve.About the roleThe Depot Resource Coordinator (DRC) is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the depot through the coordination of key depot-related activities.
Working in partnership with operational teams, the role focuses on ensuring compliance, coordinating fleet and depot resources, and providing essential operational support.This role requires travel between depots, including coordination of vehicle movements to and from repairers.Business operations require coverage between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm; therefore, applicants must be available to work within these hours.This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a role that provides a mix of field-based and office-based work, offering valuable exposure to support ongoing career progression.In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating aspects of depot operations, including:Oversight and coordination of fleet and plant availability, including vehicle movements, minor repairs coordination,
and interface with repairersMaintain accurate and compliant depot records and documentation, including Depot Management Plans, evacuation procedures and induction materialsSupporting safety, environmental, and compliance performanceat depotsUse of internal systems to manage and report on depot, fleet, and asset-related activitiesStakeholder engagement with depot staff, supervisors, suppliers, and internal support teamsParticipation in operational forums and self-management of daily priorities to meet required timelinesAbout youWe are looking for candidates who:Is enthusiastic, proactive, and solution-focused, with a strong can-do attitudeBring your experience in Sydney Water network maintenance to support the effective management of our fleet assets, which play a critical role in maintaining our wastewater and drinking water infrastructureHave strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsAre comfortable working across multiple depots and managing competing prioritiesExperience using Form site, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets would be beneficial; however, full support and training will be provided to help you develop these skills as neededHave a mechanical backgroundwill be considered an advantageLicence & Certification RequirementsCurrent Driver's Licence - Heavy Rigid (HR) licence requiredConfined Spaces ticket and fitness for workClosing Date: Friday 14 August midnight AEST.For any further information please contact Working at Sydney WaterAs part of the application process, Sydney Water will be collecting your personal information to assess your suitability for the role.
