Our heritage-listed Kenmore building was purchased by the Sisters of Mercy in **** and opened as the first Mater Hospital in Central Queensland.
Today, our 136-bed facility features five operating theatres, a private emergency service and a wide range of specialised clinical services.Our Registered Nurses provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-centred clinical care in collaboration with other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
The delivery of care extends to patient advocacy with particular consideration to patients' physical, emotional and spiritual needs that contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.Registered Nurses are responsible for ensuring safe and efficient care management within the scope of practice and professional guidelines.
