Contract Administrator - 3 Month Contract | Melbourne
We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join a delivery team on a landmark $130M commercial office fit out project and possibly some base build works located in Melbourne.
This is an immediate requirement for a contractor who can hit the ground running and take ownership of multiple trade package procurements as the project moves through a critical phase.
The Role
Working alongside an experienced delivery team consisting of a Senior Project Manager, Contracts Managers and Contract Administrators, you will be responsible for the end-to-end procurement of numerous trade packages, including:
Preparing and issuing tender packages
Managing tender queries and clarifications
Reviewing and comparing subcontractor submissions
Conducting commercial assessments and recommendations
Assisting with subcontract negotiations and awards
Maintaining procurement schedules and reporting
Supporting project commercial outcomes and risk management
About You
5+ years' experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction - fit out specifically
Robust experience procuring subcontract trade packages on large-scale projects
Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple packages simultaneously
Experience using Jobpac and Procore preferred
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
