This role is responsible for the daily coordination and performance of the day shift, ensuring all warehouse and distribution activities run safely, efficiently and on schedule.You will oversee order picking, truck loading, inventory control, safety compliance and team performance, while supporting continuous improvement across the site.Reporting to the Lidcombe DC Manager, your leadership will directly influence the success of a team of ***** employees.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute daily operational goals to meet service, safety and productivity targetsConduct root‐cause investigations for hazards,



incidents and risk assessmentsCommunicate effectively across a diverse audience, both verbally and in writingDevelop and deliver training tailored to varied skill levels and rolesWrite and maintain SOPs, safety procedures and work instructionsInterpret and apply legislation and monitor compliance across the shiftLead, coach and develop staff to build a positive culture and high performanceDrive continuous improvement in processes, safety and efficiencyManage MHE and equipment to ensure protected and reliable operationForklift licence preferred, but not essentialAbout You5+ years' experience in logistics, warehousing or distributionStrong computer capability, including intermediate–advanced MS Excel, Word and PowerPointExperience with SAP, WMS and RF systems (preferred but not essential)Proven ability to lead teams, influence culture and manage performanceA proactive, solutions‐focused mindset with strong attention to detailConfidence in managing competing priorities in a fast‐paced environmentWhy Join Lactalis?
