We're looking for someone who is a few years into their research career and is currently, or ready to be, focused solely on qualitative research.
Working primarily with commercial clients, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality qualitative research projects, from project management and coordination through to insight generation and client consulting.This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of industries and client challenges, helping organisations better understand their customers and make informed business decisions.You'll work alongside experienced qualitative researchers, gaining exposure to a broad range of methodologies, clients, and strategic business challenges while continuing to develop your consulting and storytelling skills.IPSOS UU (UNDERSTANDING UNLIMITED)Ipsos UU seeks to understand people and bring cultural intelligence to the insights we deliver.

At Ipsos UU we make sense of the qualitative data we collect through deep analysis and applying frameworks.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYThe Research Manager on the Ipsos UU team is responsible for working with the team to deliver high-quality research projects whilst ensuring budgets,



deadlines and client needs are met with efficiency.You will:Support the end-to-end coordination of research projectsWork across qualitative project management and qualitative researchDesign research tools such as recruitment screeners and discussion guides for interviews, focus groups, workshops, online communities and moreSpend time getting to know our client's business needs, and write research proposals to answer their business questionsModerate interviews, group discussions and online communitiesAnalyse findings and draft insight-led reports and presentationsTake on project management and administrative tasks as needed; including at times organising highly complex fieldwork projects with many moving partsSupport Directors and help mentor graduate researchersBuild robust relationships with suppliers and proactively liaise with them across the project lifecycle - from quoting through to completion of fieldworkCost projects, track project costs and provide regular updates to DirectorsActively participate in team meetings and office culture, and contribute positively to the team environmentABOUT YOUWe're looking for someone with a genuine passion for qualitative research.
You may already be a qualitative specialist or have decided, after experience across both qualitative and quantitative research, that a qualitative-focused role is where you want to build your career.You'll also have a strong interest in commercial categories such as Finance, FMCG, Automotive, Education, and retail brands, and enjoy working with clients across a broad range of business challenges.
You'll be naturally curious, commercially minded, and excited by the challenge of uncovering human insights that help clients make better decisions.To be successful in this role, you'll bring:3+ years of relevant experience in market researchA commercial mindset and experience with commercial clientsA tertiary qualification in marketing, psychology, anthropology, journalism,
