promote safe work practices and support continuous improvement.Your responsibilities will include:Conducting workplace inspections and hazard assessmentsSupporting incident investigations and corrective actionsAssisting with safety inductions and toolbox talksMonitoring compliance with PPE requirements and safe work proceduresMaintaining safety records, registers and training documentationSupporting risk assessments and safe work instructionsAssisting with contractor and visitor safety complianceSupporting the Safety Committee and employee consultation processesPromoting positive safety behaviours and wellbeing initiativesWorking alongside operational leaders to improve safety performanceAbout YouYou are passionate about creating safer workplaces and building positive relationships with employees at all levels.You'll bring:Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)Experience in a safety, WHS or HSE roleKnowledge of Australian WHS legislationStrong communication and influencing skillsExperience working within manufacturing, industrial or construction environmentsA proactive and practical approach to problem solvingStrong organisational and administrative skillsConfidence engaging with frontline employees and leadersHighly regarded:First Aid and/or Mental Health First AidExperience with incident investigations and root cause analysisExperience working with mobile plant, cranes or manual handling risksTraining and Assessment qualificationBAC Australia – You can grow, make an impact, feel valued and belong.
