Greencross Vets Paradise is looking for a passionate and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our growing team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week), with opportunities for additional hours in the future as the clinic continues to grow or when extra team support is required.

About the Role




This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to work additional hours in the future as the clinic grows or during periods when the team requires additional support.
You'll enjoy a varied role encompassing both clinical nursing and client care responsibilities.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Medical and surgical nursingAnaesthetic monitoring and patient recoveryConsult nursing and client educationEmergency and critical care nursingDiagnostic testing and pathologyCaring for hospitalised patientsPerforming minor procedures when requiredMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection controlReception duties including answering phones, booking appointments, admitting and discharging patients, and managing client enquiriesDelivering exceptional customer service and patient care
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary NursingHas 2+ years of clinical veterinary nursing experienceHas strong knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures and patient careIs calm, friendly, and compassionateHas excellent communication and customer service skillsIs organised and able to manage competing prioritiesWorks well both independently and as part of a teamIs adaptable, adaptable, and eager to continue developing their skillsHas experience with RxWorks (desirable but not essential)
