The ward houses a dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), comprising 4 beds, offering round-the-clock observation for children with seizures, enabling accurate diagnostic insights crucial for tailored treatment plans, including epilepsy surgery.Nurses working on this ward operate within a team nursing model, collaborating closely with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, dieticians, child life therapists, and allied health assistants.
The Assistant in Nursing is responsible for ordering and managing clinical stock, Personal protective equipment and assisting with patient cares.What You'll Be DoingThe Assistant in Nursing (AIN) role assists in the provision of basic nursing care, working within a plan of care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)



within a team setting.
AIN's are not to be allocated their own patients.
