The Intensive Care Unit/Coronary Care Unit (ICU/CCU) provides four Intensive Care beds for patients who are critically ill or require help from machines to breathe, as well as four Coronary Care beds for patients requiring heart monitoring or who have had a stroke.
The Unit is staffed by an Intensive Care Consultant, General Physician, Career Medical Officers and Nurses with post-graduate qualifications in Critical Care support.
