Key competencies (role specific criteria)You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:Proven ability to solve problems and show initiative in the workplace.Demonstrated ability to effectively use computerised systemsExperience in pre-analytical processes and excellent troubleshooting abilities in a Microbiology specimen reception and pre-analytical processing section.Demonstrated ability to arrange in-service training and continuing educational programs for clinical assistant staff and delivery of training programs for changes in Standard Operating Procedures or equipment.Proven ability to manage time effectively in a highly process driven environment with competing prioritiesAbility to plan and prioritise to effectively manage the customer service function in alignment with the overall strategic plan of the Department.Why work with us?
