About the Role
As the Team Lead – Specialist Support Coordinator, you will guide a team of Specialist Support Coordinators to deliver high quality, person centred support for participants with complex needs.
You will provide day to day leadership, coaching, and practice oversight to ensure services are delivered in line with NDIS requirements, organisational values, and evidence based practice.
Your role will focus on building capability within the team, supporting escalated or high risk cases, and ensuring participants experience coordinated, effective, and sustainable support outcomes.
You will monitor workflow, manage performance expectations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen service delivery.
Working closely with internal leaders and external stakeholders, you will champion collaborative practice, uphold quality and safeguarding standards, and ensure the team maintains accurate documentation, timely reporting, and strong skilled relationships with participants, families, and providers.
About You
You bring strong leadership capability, a supportive coaching style, and a commitment to delivering high quality outcomes for people with complex needs.
You are confident navigating the NDIS, interpreting legislation and guidelines, and supporting staff to manage risk, resolve barriers, and coordinate multi disciplinary supports.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can balance operational oversight with hands on support when required.
Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to build trust, influence positive practice, and maintain productive relationships with participants, families, and service partners.
You will also bring:
Experience in Specialist Support Coordination or a similar complex case management role
Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support staff through complex decision making




High level organisational skills and attention to detail
A values driven approach and commitment to safeguarding, quality, and continuous improvement
You will have:
A South Australian Driver's Licence
Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Current Police Clearence
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Tertiary qualification in a relevant Allied Health discipline (Social Work, Developmental Educator, Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy) and/or relevant experience.
You will have the ability to obtain clearances prior to commencement of employment.
You need to be physically fit to undertake the duties.

This role is based in the community across Adelaide metro, run from our head office in Bowden.
