You will work across a sophisticated portfolio of high-profile transactions and projects, including:
Major electricity, gas and co-generation projects
Mine acquisitions and disposals
Oil, gas and electricity supply, purchase, swap and put agreements
Pipeline transportation agreements and third-party access arrangements
Preparation and negotiation of complex commercial agreements
Transmission and hedging agreements
Regulatory and access matters for energy industry participants
Procurement processes and assistance agreements
Mergers and acquisitions
Restructuring of shareholding and financing arrangements
State and Federal Government projects
Large-scale privately owned projects
Joint ventures

We are interested in speaking with lawyers who offer:
3+ years PAE gained within a top-tier or leading law firm
Experience at Associate or Senior Associate level
Energy & Natural Resources experience, ideally with exposure to oil and gas
Strong academic results, ideally with a GPA above 5.5
Strong technical skills and an interest in working on sophisticated, market-leading matters
Lawyers returning to Australia after gaining experience within other Commonwealth jurisdictions are also strongly encouraged to apply.
