Works well under pressure and enjoys a fast-paced environment.Is reliable,



punctual and a strong team player.Has valuable English communication skills and can confidently follow recipes and procedures.Takes pride in maintaining high food safety and kitchen standards.Availability & Shift ExpectationsThis role is best suited to someone who has genuine flexibility and can work our busiest trading periods.Applicants must be available to work:Friday and Saturday nightsEvenings, weekends and Public HolidaysA mix of opening, daytime, evening and closing shiftsCook shifts are generally7–8 hoursin length.
Late-night finishes are a regular part of this role, with many closing shifts finishing around12:30am–1:00am.As Highpoint is a24-hour restaurant, there may also be occasional overnight (dawn) shifts where operationally required.Please note:We generally do not offer short 3–4 hour cook shifts, so applicants must be genuinely available to work full-length shifts.PayAdult Casual Cook (Level 3) RatesMonday–Friday:$*****/hrSaturday:$*****/hrSunday:$*****/hrPublic Holidays:$*****/hrJunior rates apply where applicable.The Fine PrintValid Australian working rights are required.You'll need reliable transport to meet the operational requirements of late-night and occasional overnight shifts.If you're ready to build your kitchen skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.
