Whether you're stronger in fabrication or machining, this role offers the opportunity to apply both skill sets while continuing to develop your capability across a diverse range of workshop and site-based projects.We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in producing quality work and is eager to continue broadening their trade.
You'll apply your fabrication and machining expertise across a diverse range of precision machining, fabrication, welding, equipment repairs, structural modifications and site-based work supporting clients throughout the Oil & Gas, Mining, Agricultural and Industrial sectors both in our workshop and on site across Queensland.You'll be equipped with high-quality tooling, equipment and technology—all provided by Entec—so you can focus on producing exceptional work.

pays attention to the finer details and takes genuine pride in producing work they're proud to put their name on.If you're looking for a role where your trade skills are recognised, your work is varied and your contribution makes a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Precision machining of components to engineering specifications using a range of machining equipment.Fabrication, welding and general boiler making duties.Manufacture, repair and modification of structural steel and mechanical components.Read and interpret engineering drawings.Work to ensure compliance with specifications and Entec's quality standards.Work collaboratively with supervisors, tradespeople and clients to deliver quality outcomes.Take pride in your workspace by maintaining Entec's tooling, equipment and workshop facilities to the highest standard.Champion a proactive safety culture through hazard identification, risk management and compliance with company and client requirements.Trade Qualification/s – Engineering Trade (Boilermaker/Welder/Fitter & Turner/Machinist) or equivalent.Willingness to learn CNC Machining,



experience advantageous.Competent fabrication and welding capability.Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings.Solid attention to detail and genuine pride in workmanship.Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.Highly RegardedDual trade qualifications or significant experience across both fabrication and machining.Experience across the Oil & Gas, Mining, Agricultural or Industrial sectors.Experience in heavy/structural fabrication, equipment repairs and maintenance.Forklift, Dogging, EWP or other High Risk Work Licences.Confined Space & Working at Heights.Additional/specialist welding qualifications or machining experience across a variety of equipment.Entec Resources is a proudly Australian-owned company delivering specialist mechanical, electrical, engineering and technical solutions to the resources sector.
