With offices strategically located in Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East, we are well‐positioned to take on projects for clients around the world.About the RoleDue to continued growth, Contract Resources (CR), proudly supported by Cleanaway (CWY), is seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Manager to lead our South‐West Fleet Maintenance operations on a permanent full‐time basis.Reporting to the West Coast Fleet Manager and based out of our Kwinana facility, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management of fleet maintenance, workshop operations, asset reliability, compliance, and maintenance personnel across the West Coast region.The Maintenance Manager will play a key role in ensuring our Industrial services fleet, specialised equipment, and operational assets are maintained to the highest safety and performance standards.
This position requires a hands‐on leader with strong technical expertise, commercial awareness, and a commitment to driving continuous improvement across maintenance operations.Duties will include but not limited toLeading and managing the SW maintenance team to deliver safe, efficient, and cost‐effective maintenance outcomesOverseeing preventative, corrective, and breakdown maintenance programs across fleet and operational assetsManaging daily workshop operations, resource allocation, and maintenance schedulingEnsuring fleet and equipment availability aligns with operational requirementsDeveloping and implementing maintenance strategies to improve asset reliability and performanceMonitoring maintenance costs, budgets, and expenditure while identifying opportunities for efficienciesEnsuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory, OEM, and company maintenance requirementsLeading investigations into equipment failures and implementing corrective actionsManaging relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providersSupporting procurement activities for maintenance materials, parts, and equipmentDriving a strong safety culture and ensuring adherence to all HSEQ requirementsPreparing maintenance reports, KPI tracking, and asset performance analysisSupporting workforce planning, recruitment, training,
and development of maintenance personnelIdentifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance systems and processesCollaborating with operational leaders to support project delivery and business objectivesRequirements & Experience NeededTrade qualification in Mechanical, Heavy Diesel, Plant Mechanics, or a related discipline (desirable)Minimum 5 years' experience in a leadership role within Industrial Services, Oil & Gas, Transport, Waste Management, or related industriesDemonstrated experience managing workshops, fleet maintenance, and asset management programsStrong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and maintenance planning principlesExperience leading multi-disciplined maintenance teams in a fast‐paced operational environmentSound commercial and financial management skills, including budgeting and cost controlStrong knowledge of WHS legislation and maintenance compliance requirementsProven ability to develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve fleet reliability and utilisationExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience using CMMS, fleet management systems, and Microsoft Office SuiteFull Australian Work RightsEmployee BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a company that values work‐life balance, fosters a sociable and collaborative atmosphere, and provides opportunities for skill development and career advancement.
