In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.About the Role:The Systems/Cloud Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, implementing,maintaining, and optimising Northern Health's hybrid infrastructure estate.This positionis responsible forensuring the high availability, security, and performance of bothon-premisecompute/storage and cloud-hosted platforms.A primary focus of this roleforthe next 12 months will be supporting the transition fromHealth Technology Services (HTS) EMRon-premisehosting toOracle Cloud infrastructure(OCI).
The Systems/Cloud Engineer will act as a key technical escalation point,



ensuring that infrastructure changes cause minimal disruption to Northern Health's 24/7 clinical environment.To be successful in this role you will have:Assist EMR Cerner Millennium application (currently hosted at datacentre) migration into OCI.Design and connect directory services, identity management, and access controls via Active Directory to the vendor's cloud platform, ensuring clean integration with core corporate platforms.Coordinate directly with managed service partners to ensure external cloud targets and Virtual Protection Groupsmaintainstrict Recovery Point Objectives and Recovery Time Objectives.Participate in ITIL-aligned change management practices, evaluating infrastructure changes against clinical impact statements andestablishingrigid rollback workflows before execution.Provide rapid tier-3 technical escalation support during critical service incidents, performing root-cause analysis and coordinating with third-party vendors to remediate system faults.Facilitate knowledge transfer, technical walkthroughs, and reverse-shadowing sessions with internal service desk and operational teams.Applications close Thursday 13 August ****Why work at the Northern Health?
