Company Description
- Eluvio is solving one of the internet's hardest problems: video.
Our Content Fabric is a decentralized platform that reimagines how premium media is delivered, processed, and monetized — enabling real-time routing, just-in-time transcoding, personalized playback, and ledger-based rights management, all inline with the video stream itself.
Global leaders in entertainment and sports — URC and EPCR, Amazon Studios/MGM, Sony, Warner Bros, Cricket Australia, Vubiquity, Telstra Broadcast Services, UEFA, and WPALive TV .
We're award-winning (NAB, SEICON, HPA), protected by 15+ US patents, and founded by the team behind Aspera, the Emmy-winning company acquired by IBM.
Our headquarters are in Berkeley, CA, and we're proud alumni of the UC Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator.
As we accelerate our APAC expansion, we're hiring a deeply technical architect to lead solution design, technical sales, and strategic deployments across the region.
The Role -
You'll be the primary technical authority for Eluvio across APAC, driving technical engagement from engineering teams to the C-suite.
You'll lead discovery, design scalable decentralized media architectures, run demos and proof-of-concept deployments, and translate complex product capabilities into regional business outcomes — working with everyone from agile streaming startups to Fortune 500 media conglomerates across SEA, Japan, Korea, and ANZ.
What you'll do
Lead end-to-end technical discovery, architecture design, and proof-of-concept deployments for prospects and strategic accounts.
Serve as the trusted technical advisor to C-level executives, media directors, and engineering teams.
Deliver compelling presentations, live demos, and hands-on workshops tailored to regional needs, localization requirements, and network constraints.
Partner with Global Sales, R&D;, Product, and Customer Success to align roadmaps, accelerate adoption, and resolve complex integrations.
Architect and document enterprise-grade solutions — reference architectures, API integration guides, security/compliance matrices, and ROI/value cases.
Identify expansion and upsell opportunities across the Eluvio platform and develop strategic partnerships.
Feed regional insights and competitive intelligence back into product development and APAC go-to-market strategy.
Represent Eluvio through technical whitepapers, architecture blogs, case studies, and speaking engagements.
What you'll work with
Systems & protocol architecture: Go, Rust, and/or C/C++; WebAssembly, decentralized content routing, and distributed storage.
Comfort optimizing our custom ffmpeg-based transcoding/packaging stack and just-in-time processing pipelines.
Media & streaming: HLS, DASH, CMAF, WebRTC, and DRM (Widevine, FairPlay, PlayReady); codec optimization (H.264, H.265, AV1, VVC) and low-latency architectures tuned to APAC network variability and device fragmentation.
AI/ML & content intelligence: Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and modern ML (Transformers, VLMs, RAG, LoRA, reinforcement learning).
Pipelines for multilingual content understanding, automated metadata, semantic search/retrieval, and regionally tuned personalization.
Cloud, distributed systems & security: AWS, GCP, and Azure with strong APAC coverage; zero-trust security, data sovereignty/compliance (PDPA, APPI, Australia Privacy Act), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and enterprise SSO/IAM.
What you'll work with
8+ years in enterprise solution architecture,
pre-sales engineering, or technical consulting — ideally in cloud media, streaming, enterprise SaaS, or decentralized infrastructure.
Strong background in media processing, codec optimization, DRM, and low-latency streaming.
Fluency with cloud-native architecture, CI/CD, distributed system design, and API-first integration.
Expert ability to communicate complex concepts to both engineers and non-technical executives, and to author proposals, architecture diagrams, RFP responses, and security/compliance documentation.
BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Science, EECS, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Regional Fit
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills across diverse APAC business cultures.
Strategic, consultative mindset focused on long-term partnerships and technical trust-building, with a bias for action and ownership.
Fluency in English required; qualified proficiency in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or a major SEA language is highly advantageous.
*****% travel across key APAC markets (Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila) for workshops, executive briefings, POC deployments, and industry events.
What we offer
Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives aligned to APAC markets.
Employee stock option program (ESOP).
Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage tailored to your country of residence.
Retirement benefits (401(k) / Superannuation / regional equivalents) with company matching.
Flexible, remote-friendly working with strong work-life balance and regional autonomy.
Continuous professional development, technical certifications, and conference sponsorships.
An inclusive, engineering-first culture with regional meetups, innovation days, and collaborative team events.
Ready to architect the future of media across APAC?
