Job Description: Trade Desk Sales & Warehouse SupportDesigner Tile Company – Springvale, VICPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Desk Sales & Warehouse Support person to join our team at Designer Tile Company in Springvale.
This is a hands-on, dual-role position combining warehouse operations, trade desk counter sales, showroom sales support, and merchandising responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be a key contributor to smooth daily operations, customer service excellence, and overall warehouse presentation.Location: Springvale, VictoriaWork Schedule: 5-day week (including Saturday 9am - 3pm)Roster: RDO (Rostered Day Off) on FridaysParking: On-site parking availableKey ResponsibilitiesServe trade customers at the counter in a skilled and efficient mannerProcess sales orders accurately using warehouse/point-of-sale systemsProvide product information, availability updates, and general assistanceSupport trade account holders with order changes and enquiriesAssist showroom and clearance centre staff during busy periodsSupport overflow retail sales, helping customers select suitable productsMaintain a clean, presentable, and organised showroom environmentAssist with merchandising and tile display setups to ensure strong product presentationWarehouse Operations & Stock ManagementReceive, unload, and safely store incoming tile stockPick, pack,



and prepare customer orders for dispatch and collectionMaintain accurate stock locations and inventory control at all timesEnsure all pallets are safely stacked, wrapped, and stored in compliance with safety standardsConduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or damages immediatelyAssist with stock unloading from trucks and stock consolidation in warehouseTidy, replenish, and rotate warehouse stock to maintain an organised and efficient workspaceAssist with ordering and replenishment of warehouse stock as requiredMaintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse at all timesSkills & Experience RequiredCurrent forklift licence (essential)Previous warehouse, trade sales, or retail experience (tile/building industry preferred)Strong communication skills (in person and over the phone)Well-presented and customer-focusedAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail, safety awareness, and accuracyTeam-oriented with the ability to work independently when requiredPersonal AttributesReliable, punctual, and proactiveStrong work ethic with a "get it done" attitudeWillingness to take ownership of warehouse presentation and organisationFlexible and able to support across warehouse, sales, and showroom functions
