Brief DescriptionThe RoleAuto & General's Top of Funnel Program is a strategic portfolio of initiatives designed to grow quote volume and improve conversion across direct and partner brands.
The Business Analyst will own the analysis function across the program, leading requirements elicitation, process mapping, options analysis, and functional specification development through Ignite phase gates.
Operating in a complex environment with multi-system integrations and cross-divisional stakeholders (Marketing, Technology, Sales & Service, Compliance, Legal), the BA will drive analysis independently, produce investment-grade artefacts, and actively shape solution design.
Depending on the initiative, the BA will work alongside a Project Manager or operate as the sole delivery resource, owning both analysis and coordination end to end.Position AccountabilitiesDiscovery and RequirementsLead current-state analysis across program workstreams, documenting as-is processes, data flows, system landscapes, and control gapsConduct structured requirements elicitation through stakeholder workshops, interviews, desktop research, and onsite observationsTranslate business needs into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications consumable by technology delivery teamsDevelop to-be process maps and data flow documentation to support solution designIdentify and document business risks, integration dependencies, and compliance requirements as part of each Ideation phaseWhere IT system solutions are included, translate business requirements into functional and system/IT requirements and brief these to the Technology teamOptions Analysis and Business Case SupportDevelop and assess solution options, including effort, cost, and time estimates to support investment decision-makingWork closely with initiative owners and sponsors to develop business cases that address real business problemsProduce analysis and documentation that meets A&G; governance standardsSupport feasibility assessments and contribute to business case development across multiple concurrent workstreamsStakeholder EngagementBuild and maintain strong working relationships with business and technical stakeholders across Marketing, Technology, Sales & Service, Compliance, Legal, and White Label & Alliance Partner teamsFacilitate workshops and structured sessions to drive alignment on requirements and solution directionManage competing stakeholder priorities and surface trade-offs clearlyInvestigate and measure process-improvement opportunities, working with the business to recommend and implement solutionsDelivery and QualityTake accountability for assigned deliverables, ensuring effective and transparent communication with the end-to-end delivery teamLead elaboration sessions, actively contribute to sprint planning, and support the delivery team through sprintsEffectively manage issues and change requests, balancing quality with cost and timeliness impactsSupport UAT planning and execution, including developing the testing and approval process, briefing testing teams, and ensuring solutions fully meet original requirementsMonitor changes post-implementation to ensure successEnsure all documentation reflects business understanding and adheres to A&G; guidelines, including the definition of doneGovernance and Continuous ImprovementEnsure all BA artefacts meet A&G;'s delivery frameworks phase gate and definition-of-done requirementsContribute to risk registers,

The program spans customer acquisition, marketing effectiveness, digital experience, compliance uplift, and technology capability - with each initiative contributing to a materially stronger top-of-funnel performance.
The Contract Business Analyst will own the analysis function across the program - leading requirements elicitation, current-state assessment, process mapping, options analysis, and functional specification development as initiatives progress through Ignite phase gates.
The role operates across a technically and commercially complex setting: multi-system integrations, regulatory compliance requirements, and cross-divisional stakeholder groups spanning Marketing, Technology, Sales & Service, Compliance, and Legal.
This is not a support role.
The BA is expected to drive analysis independently, produce investment-grade artefacts, and actively shape solution design alongside technology, marketing, and risk stakeholders.
Depending on the initiative, the BA will work alongside a dedicated Project Manager or operate as the sole delivery resource - owning both the analysis and the coordination of stakeholder and delivery activity end-to-end.
