Assignment until November **** with potential to extendASAP StartRemote (Open across in Australia)Existing NV1 Security clearance required.Green Light has a requirement with our client partner forApplication Packaging and Intune Engineer tojointheir team on assignment until November **** with potential to extend.ResponsibilitiesApplication Discovery & AnalysisCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather application requirements, dependencies, and licensing triggers prior to packaging.End-to-End PackagingDesign and create high-quality deployment packages using Intune.Advanced Scripting & AutomationUse PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) to handle complex installation logic, user notifications, and workplace clean-ups.Quality Assurance & TestingConduct rigorous UAT in clean-room VM environments to ensure packages do not interfere with the base SOE or other installed applications.Compliance & Security HardeningEnsure packages comply with ASD Essential Eight (specifically Application Control/Whitelisting) and ISM standards, including no requirement for administrative privileges for end users.Intune & MECM OrchestrationManage upload, targeting, and monitoring of application deployments via Microsoft Intune and SCCM/MECM.RequirementsCore ToolsExperience in Microsoft Intune, Admin Studio, Advanced Installer, or Master Packager.Packaging FormatsStrong knowledge of MSI tables (Orca), MST (Transforms),



and MSIX.ScriptingAdvanced PowerShell skills for automation and wrapper development.TroubleshootingExpert use of Sysinternals (ProcMon, Process Explorer) and Event Viewer to diagnose application issues and registry conflicts.Security & WhitelistingExperience with AppLocker or Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC).
Developer Tool PackagingProven experience packaging complex developer tools and enterprise applications.QualificationsSecurity Clearance: NV1 clearance is mandatory (public sector requirement).
