That's a big responsibility, but you're the go-to teams with the know-how, delivering essential and excellent service for people every day.About the opportunityAs our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience.
Every year around one million customers walk into one of our Australia Post Offices.
It's our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a excellent one.
And while they do, they're supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.You'll bePerforming customer sales and service transactions with customers.Managing high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS).
Conducting and processing a number of identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews.Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activities.Assisting customers with mail and parcels lodgements and associate costs.Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs.Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance.Pay Rate Commencing at $*****/ hour, increasing to $***** / hour after 3 months, plus 12% SuperannuationTraining Comprehensive,



paid training program of 12 weeks with ongoing supportHours 20 hours / week, working 4 hour shifts on a rotating roster, Monday to Friday, between 8:45 AM - 5:06 PMLocationsAs shifts will be rostered across the market, you will need to be willing and able to travel to Morayfield, Bribie Island and Caboolture,please consider this before applyingAbout youYou're a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who loves working in a team environment.You're ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community.You'll also need toHave experience in customer service and/or cash handling.Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail and parcels regularly and stand for your shift.What else is in it for you?
