SRG Global is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing shutdowns mostly in Kwinana with the occasional FIFO shutdown within the Soutwest Region, with the opportunity for adaptable involvement in multiple periodic shutdowns on the strip and peel.
This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance.
This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment.Flexibility:Casual Flat Rates12 Hour Days - day and night shifts availableChoose your shutdownsWork / Life balanceThe successful applicant will have:Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter Role.Hands‐on experience servicing and maintaining heavy plant and industrial equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faultsExperience in fitting, assembling,



and aligning mechanical componentsFamiliarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systemsBasic knowledge of lubricants and lubrication techniquesWhat You Need:Trade Certificate – Cert III Mechanical/Engineering Trade (with experience in rollers and rotating equipment)Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
